TripTo brings together three car clubs, based in Llanidloes, Machynlleth, Llandrindod Wells and Penrhyn-coch under one umbrella organisation. We’re a non-profit social enterprise run by and for the communities in which we operate.

As well as providing access to electric vehicles, we are also installing local electric charge points so that our cars can easily be recharged when not being used.

We provide a full induction explaining how our local charge points work, and how to plan charging on a long journey if you want to use more than the range of the vehicle. Our newer Zoes have an official range of 246 miles in Summer, the older ones, 186 miles. The Berlingo has a range of 150 miles and is usually used for local journeys, carrying stuff including bikes.

Recently our membership has been growing in a few of the towns we serve, and we are now looking at getting additional vehicles to meet the increased demand. More and more people are feeling empowered in the fight against climate change and air pollution by driving one of our shared electric vehicles.
